Brothers' Annual Dinner 2009

The Annual Dinner will take place after the Requiem on Friday 20th November, at ca. 8.30p.m. We have again managed to arrange a particularly favourable price at Orsini on Thurloe Place.

The charge this year will be £35 per person, which is less than last year. Brothers are, of course, encouraged to bring any potential new postulants as their guests.

We need to have firm numbers and to have received payment by the close of Exercises on Sunday 25th October. No exceptions can or will be made, nor will reminders be issued.

Could you please let the Rector know, as soon as possible, whether you will be attending the Dinner? Cheques, made payable to The London Oratory Charity, should be sent to the Rector c/o the Oratory. Hard copy confirmation slips are available in the Little Oratory Sacristy.

Resumption of Fomal Exercises

Formal Exercises in the Little Oratory will resume on Sunday 4th October, with the Congregation of Elections, and not on Sunday 20th September as previously notified in the Brothers' Programme.

Annual Requiem Mass & Dinner

The Annual Requiem Mass for Departed Brothers will be sung on Friday 20th October, at 7.15p.m., in the Little Oratory.
It will be followed by the Annual Dinner which will be at Orsini again this year. Please see the later post on here for details.

October Organ Recital Series

We have been asked again this year by the Music Department to provide ushers for the October Organ Recital series.
We will need three people each Monday in October, from about 7p.m. to 8.45p.m., to assist with distributing programmes and taking retiring collections.
Would any Brothers able to assist please let the Rector know as soon as possible, so that a list can be drawn up?
