Indulgence

The Apostolic Penitentiary, by order of the Holy Father Francis, grants a Jubilee Year with an attached Plenary Indulgence, subject to the usual conditions (sacramental confession, sacramental communion, and prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff), to Christ's faithful people (which they may also, by way of suffrage, apply to the souls detained in Purgatory) who, being truly penitent and moved by a desire for an increase in charity, with their hearts united with the spiritual ends of the Year of the Consecrated Life, visit, by way of pilgrimage, the Jubilee Churches, and there piously participate in some sacred function in honour of Saint Philip Neri, or at least spend an appropriate period of time there in prayer, concluding with the Pater Noster, Creed, and prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Philip Neri.
. . .

This decree is valid for the whole of the Jubilee Year of Saint Philip Neri, which,
for the purposes of the Indulgence, runs from 25th May 2015 to 26th May 2016. The Jubilee Churches are the Chiesa Nuova, any in Florence, and any canonically erected Oratory of the Confederation. It does not apply to Churches dedicated to Saint Philip outside of the above criteria.
