Lent 2010 programme

The programme for Lent 2010 has been published. (The hard copy may be downloaded here.)


Wednesday 17th February: Ash Wednesday — Fasting and Abstinence.
High Mass — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm.
Other Mass times as usual (the 6.00 pm Low Mass is replaced by the High Mass).

Friday 19th February.
Via Crucis — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm. Robes.
Followed by Oratory of the Passion in the Little Oratory.

Wednesday 24th February.
Lenten Musical Oratory — Little Oratory at 6.30 pm. Robes.

Friday 26th February.
Via Crucis — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm. Robes.
Followed by Oratory of the Passion in the Little Oratory.

Wednesday 3rd March.
Lenten Musical Oratory — Little Oratory at 6.30 pm. Robes.

Friday 5th March.
Via Crucis — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm. Robes.
Followed by Oratory of the Passion in the Little Oratory.

Wednesday 10th March.
Lenten Musical Oratory — Little Oratory at 6.30 pm. Robes.

Friday 12th March.
Via Crucis — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm. Robes.
Followed by Oratory of the Passion in the Little Oratory.

Tuesday 16th March.
Commencement of Quarant’ Ore (High Mass & Procession) — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm.
Brothers will be required to carry the canopy, and those not doing so are strongly urged to take part, robed and carrying candles, in the Procession. Brothers will also be required in pairs to watch throughout the annual Exposition. Robes.

Wednesday 17th March.
Holy Hour —Oratory Church at 6.30 pm.

Thursday 18th March.
Conclusion of Quarant’ Ore (Solemn Benediction) — Oratory Church at ca. 7 pm.

Friday 19th March: Saint Joseph.
Solemn Benediction — Oratory Church at 6.30 pm.
This Feast is observed by the Brothers as a Day of Devotion.
